Another Look: Need for Speed SHIFT [DRIFTING MODE]

While all these other websites this week were hyping you on the E3 trailers of Need for Speed SHIFT we got invited to a private EA Games event which allowed us to drift. While the drifting is in BETA still we were able to slide Vaughn Gittin’s 2010 Ford Mustang around a few selected courses with Vaughn Gittin Jr. himself.
This fall when the game comes out we will be sliding around in the best drifting simulator to date. This game puts any drifting I have ever seen to shame and on top of all that I was drifting around in a Formula Drift stars machine.
I don’t know too many details on what drivers will be in the game and what tracks we can slide on but the Drifting itself is a great system. It has difficulty levels so newbies can slide with several assists on and a full custom mode for hardcore Drifting gamers will be available as well. You can also check out our first game review we conducted in April of Need for Speed SHIFT. So we can confirm drifting will be in the new game and I guarantee that it will be simulation worthy so make sure your ready!
