D1GP Tokyo Expo [CRASH HIGHLIGHTS]
A fan video captured some of the best crashes and accidents from the D1GP Tokyo Demo at Odaiba. The best clip of the video comes when the two red cars are tandeming and the lead car smashes a barrier and throws it into Daigo Saito’s car. Not high quality biut some nice video from the event.

Formula Drift has made a new website to support all of you addicted mobile losers who want Drifting information all the time. According to a quick note from Formula Drift founder Ryan Sage, “Mobile website will feature a news feed, driver profiles, standings and venue information for each Formula DRIFT competition.” Sounds pretty interesting, I tested the site on my Blackberry and iPhone and it seems to be very functional on both!

2008 D1GP Round 6 Qualifying at Ebisu
A great nine minute summary video of qualifying from the Ebisu Circuit event of 2008. Round 6 had some rain and some drama but what a great event for the D1GP series. Ueno couldn’t quite keep a hold of his Toyota Soarer as he slams it into the wall. Enjoy this great footage from JDM Option Volume 175!

The C West/Brian Crower Honda S2000 Time Attack machine last year posted a record lap time for the Unlimited Class with a 1:23.36. While the car had some overheating problems Tyler was able to go out and post up some strong times.
“I went back out on low bost and on sticker tires but there was no change with the heat issue so I was only able to do 1 lap again. I was able to get under the track record by 1 second with a 1:22.23 but at the end of that lap the head gasket blew in a big way just after start finish”
On Sunday they were unable to post a time any better than 1:22.23 but Super Lap Battle counts times from both days. The car just didn’t seem to want to agree with the heat out in the desert but Tyler was able to break his track record! Congrats sir!
