Formula D 2009 Preview: Ryuji Miki’s APEX’i Mazda Rx-7

Wrecked Magazine Issue 5’s cover car has got a flat makeover. Ryuji Miki’s Mazda Rx-7 will still be operated from what we understand under the APEX’i sponsorship but has altered it’s white/blue scheme for something less flashly. A sleek flat black exterior makes this car look gorgeous but will Ryuji Miki be able to really step up this year? The Bergenholtz Brothers left him in the wake for a Mazda Rx-8 and rookie Justin Pawlak so we shall see what APEX’i has up their sleeves for the new season.

Looks damn sexy. Now it just needs APEXi decals and a dragon flying along side.
flat black.. it’s cool for a stealth fighter.. or a ghetto flyer, but this is the Apexi FD we are talking about. I hope it looks better with graphics because I am not too keen on it.
