2009 D1 Grand Prix Japan Schedule

Tokyo Auto Salon 2009 has been pumping out some great information for the Japanese Drifting scene and it appears that the D1 Grand Prix has released a 2009 schedule including five events. If this schedule below posted by EDRFT is correct they are majorly scaling back from seven events to five events. This seems like a big hit to the D1 Grand Prix series to scale back that much. At least the Japanese season has a better chance of happening than the 2009 D1GP USA schedule. The few people who have been rumored to come drive in Formula D might be able to run double duty with this light D1 schedule but we’ll see.
March 29th, 2009 - Ebisu Circuit
April 26th, 2009 - Autopolis
June 27th/28th, 2009 - Okayama Intl. Circuit
August 29th/30th, 2009 - Ebisu Circuit
October 10th/11th, 2009 - Fuji Speedway

Sited from http://www.d1gp.co.jp/09_d1_sche.html the last three events are broken up into single day rounds somehow.
3月29日 Rd.1 EBISU
4月26日 Rd.2 AUTOPOLIS
6月27日 Rd.3 OKAYAMA
6月28日 Rd.4 OKAYAMA
8月29日 Rd.5 EBISU
8月30日 Rd.6 EBISU
10月10日 Rd.7 FUJI
10月11日 Rd.8 FUJI
Are you saying that Okayama, Ebisu, and Fuji are all separate rounds? Someone from the show room floor at TAS sent me was the listing we had above.
I am going to contact D1 to try and shed some light on the formatting of events. I know right now the current economic state of Japan is not doing well so I fewer events was not a shock to myself. Having them put on two events in two days at the same venue does seem a tad strange. I have contact with a few of the Japanese D1 people and some teams over that way that perhaps I can get an explanation.
Thanks for the link to this!
