Wrecked Magazine has the first shots of Vaughn’s 2010 Mustang in it’s 2009 Formula D race prep. The new Falken colors are a huge improvement from that pastel blue! The car looks like it has slimmed up logo wise for now which is nice. If your at PRI this weekend keep your eyes peeled for this beast!!

I’m still curious about the motor
hope they just keep it NA…. was the 08 motor drysump?
the motor will be supercharged Cam. If you head to this post http://www.wreckedmagazine.com/blog/2008/11/19/vaughn-gittin-jrs-2010-ford-mustang-broke-down/
you can see pictures and information on the motor.

I was curious as to presence of dry-sumpage as well. Can’t really tell in the pics, i don’t see a oil tank, and with the lines being black I can’t really tell if theres anything coming from down there.
this car could look sooooooo much meaner, looks lame. needs a front lip/bumper/something really bad and the stance is ninny. can’t wait to see this thing once it gets more to actual race trim.
It’s the first 2010 Mustang racecar ever. I’m pretty sure they couldn’t just order up a “sick” body kit. Is it not enough that the WHOLE car is dry carbon?
Ninny stance?……this coming from a guy that “drifted” an El Camino? Enough said….
I have been told the car will be dry sump. Probably using the production Ford GT pan? Just a guess.
