Well we made a post blindly after seeing Ryuji Miki driving in MSC recently which you can read here “Ryuji Miki and his Formula D future?” Well after this story broke we have received IM’s, e-mails, and phone calls informing us of what the hot gossip is. Thanks to all of our sources for coming through on this one but word has it the Bergenholtz brothers have secured a Mazda Rx-8 and Justin Pawlak for the 2009 team. This comes as a shock and great shock to see our Issue 7 cover story Pawlak pushing his way higher into the ranks of Formula D. This will mark the first time JTP will not be driving in his Rx-7 in Drifting to date. I guess the question now is where will all the sponsors fall like Maxxis or Nitto. This team should be a 2009 Formula D powerhouse.
